Words cannot describe how thankful I am that Alicia came to me back in May describing her intimate wedding and backyard reception. Saturday was actually the first time we met and when I walked into the room where she was getting ready, I felt as if we were already good friends. Alicia and her two bridesmaids are TRIPLETS…can you say omg?! As they got ready, they were eating pizza…um yeah, confirmed we’re best friends now lol
From a s’mores bar, dog of honor, brides dog, a cat and some corn hole – this wedding had it all!
How they met: After high school, Alicia moved to Hampton Roads and met Aaron through mutual friends. Ironically enough, neither of them were very fond of each other but often found themselves in social situations together. At the time they were both in other relationships but once those ended they found themselves talking one night leading to a spark. During the first year or so of dating they were still in disbelief that they spent so much time disliking each other when really, their lives turned into such a love for one another. When they moved in together, Aaron “adopted” Alicia’s dog Diesel and soon after, Claude the cat was rescued from a gas station and Daisy dog, Aaron later found. These fur babies can be seen below 🙂
